Under the weather

Hi everybody, we've arrived back in Khartoum safe and sound. Mirriam  looked after  Shadow and the five budgies so well that they are in fine fettle.

Which is more than I can say for myself. I developed a stomach ulcer sometime last week. I tried to treat it myself but eventually I ended up at the doctor the night before we flew out of South Africa. I'm taking antibiotics and hope I'll soon feel better. I am very tired and spent most of the last two days on my bed. Very debilitating...

Till later, bless you all.

  2. Jo, II hope it isn't too serious. I will pray for you and anoint you with oil by proxy... Gaelyn can stand in for you if you don't mind and if she is willing...
This illness has not come to destroy... But for the Glory of God... Rest and let His healing power begin...
And take all your meds :)

  9. Oh, Jo, I am so sorry you have an ulcer! I will pray for healing. I just recently saw on TV a home remedy for healing ulcers, found to be true by researchers. Drink a full glass of raw cabbage juice (made from a head of cabbage with a juicer) daily for 2-3 weeks and the ulcer goes away. But I'm sure the antibiotics will work, too!
