Angie and Grant Catch Up

At eleven and a half months, Angie's grip is very strong. Here she enjoys a good tussle with Grant

Having been gone for three and a half months, my husband noticed a huge difference in Angie’s growth. He says not only has she become taller and filled out; her level of confidence is far higher than when he left in March.
"There's dad's good girl!"

Yesterday he and Angie had a fine time playing with her rope toy. I managed to catch a few action photos.

  1. Cute pictures! I envy you all getting to have dogs. Our living arrangements keep us from having a dog, but we do enjoy our cat!!

  2. Aw! What a happy reunion! Angie looks lovely! I'm sure I'll come back to Niger to find that Sheba (eleven months old as well) will have grown too, because I think she left some growth for after hot season :-). You must be thrilled now to have your better right where he should be! How long will he keep working in Sudan?

  3. Hi Jackleen;) I'm glad you have your cat. We had a cat in West Africa and I brought him out to South Africa in 2006. He sadly died here in my garden under tragic circumstances. Thanks for popping in. (((Hugs)))

Hi Esther;) yes, my husband loves Angie and all the dogs and cats are always thrilled to have him home. Not least because then there is REAL meat in the house for a while. It is super having him home - he flies back to Sudan on Sunday. I hope to visit him later this year. (((Hugs))) Jo

  4. Angie must be thrilled to have someone to rough-house with. She's quite smart in her scottish coat.
I'm sure you're happy to have DH back too!
    Hope all is well.

  5. She's so beautiful. Looks like you've been blessed with a really great fur friend.

  6. Hi Jo, Angie i s really cute.Nice post. We have a golden retriever.

  7. Hi Dedene;) yes, Angie is too adorable in her scottish coat. She loves my husband - the feeling is mutual. We are all well- hubby leaves for the Sudan on Sunday :>(
