Bearded Vulture

Although this vulture’s numbers are vastly depleted, it can still be found (in limited populations) all over the world.

In South Africa, it is found only in the Drakensberg Mountain Range. Globally, it is found in the Himalayas, Pyrenees, Alps, Caucasus region, Altai Mountains, Alborzs, Zagros Mountains, Ladakh, the mountains of western and central China, and the Arabian Peninsula.

Eddy...

Eddy, our [female] wired-haired fox-terrier contracted biliary and suffered a stroke and a heart-attack early on Monday morning. At the vet, who immediately injected her for biliary and had her on a glucose drip, Eddy had another seisure and succumbed. 

Eddy would've been 15 years old this coming Sunday, 8th October. 

We will miss dear old Eddy, especially me and Skabenga and especially on our twice-daily walks where Eddy would hurtle into the distance at great speed.

We kitties DO go outside!

Hi Mum's blog readers; this is Ambrose (Mum says Bozo is on a holiday - I wonder what a holiday is...)

Aunt Diane from Australia asked if we kitties did anything else but sleep. Yes, we do go outside to scratch our claws on the tree branches. It's also warm in the sun.

Skabenga is always where Mum is; even in the front garden where he shouldn't be (there're no fences) 

Aunty Chappy was sitting  next to our yoomen dad while he had breakfast. She doesn't pass up the chance of a tidbit!
