Good morning dear Blogger friends. I know that most inhabitants of countries in the Northern Hemisphere don't blink an eye at snow. We, here in South Africa, get very excited. The photos fly a across the social media, each one more beautiful and dramatic than the last.

From The Bunker patio on Friday
A collage of the snow falling and covered peaks - taken Friday

My friend sent me these on Friday

Saturday morning the sun was out and more snow had fallen overnight

Our Run Director took this photo at Parkrun on Saturday. I did the same route as her but took 14minutes longer!

The Winterton Parkrun is possibly the most beautiful Parkrun in the world. We think so...

Later I took this photo from the little supermarket and fuel stop in Champagne Valley. It's 1km below where The Bunker is situated and I generally stop here for supplies before going up to clean and prep for the next guests. I am going up in a minute...

HAPPY SUNDAY TO YOU ALL!

  5. Time to build a snow person, and get those skis out Jo! Such beautiful scenes of the mountains and surrounding area. Enjoy these views while you can. . . . . . meanwhile we have several months to go before a chance of snow here.
