Dogs, hot air balloons and other critters

Last week I snapped several things happening around the shopping centre and also while driving home one night.

Two Great Danes keep an eye on their yoomen as he walks along the veranda at the shopping centre
Grant called me to see this apararition parked outside the shopping centre. It's a hot air balloon deflated and crated while in transit
It's not time to burn fires now but there are herders who lease land and then do as they please
Beautiful but illegal at this time of the year

Last week, going to watch the rugby match between South Africa (fourth in the world)  and New Zealand  (number 1 in the world), Grant donned his party piece : a wolf suit .
An unusual animal in Africa: a large grey wolf!
Steve and Wolf Man enjoy a chuckle

I'm linking to Saturday Critters here

HAPPY SATURDAY TO YOU ALL !

  2. Hello, the Great Danes are pretty dogs. They are waiting patiently. It would be cool to take a ride in the hot air balloon. Grant the Wolf Man, that sounds like a TV show. Fun photos of the grey wolf. I appreciate you being part of my 200th post! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

  3. All very interesting photos!
We often see dogs here with their heads out the car windows. They always look so happy while the car is moving, but sad to be left in the stopped vehicle.
    Have a wonderful week-end!

  4. I bet those Great Danes are expecting treats when their person returns. People burning illegally happens everywhere. Saw it in a few of the places I lived. Nobody is going to tell me what to do is often their reply. Grant as the wolf man made me laugh. Better beware when the night gets dark and there's a full moon. :)

    Enjoy the weekend Jo.

  5. I love the photo of the two Great Danes sticking their heads out the car window. They look very curious. At first I thought one of them was Skabenga. I was glad to see Grant in his wolf suit. It seems to come in handy for several occasions ;-)
