Haircuts and walkies

Some of you may remember when I inadvertently had a short, very, very, very short haircut.

Read: shaved head!
This was me mere days after I'd tried to trim my own hair and ended up having to have it shaved!

Yesterday my sweet friend Lynette, who has cut my hair almost since I arrived in the Valley, gave me my first haircut since my own attempts in May! She cut it on my veranda and afterwards we shared a light lunch together, and of course, chatted up a storm! Once Lynette had left, Skabenga started to bounce up and down for his daily walk.

Returning after doing our allotted Sunday distance, I took a selfie of me and Skabby and sent  it to Lynette thanking her again for taking me home (more about this later) and cutting my hair.

 Loyalty is....
Blown and styled: Lynette is good at cutting hair

HAPPY MONDAY TO YOU ALL !

  2. I have often threaten to shave my head like yours in the first photo because of the 3 cowlicks I have and my hair grows around my head, towards the back of right side and towards my face on the left. it is why hubby cuts my hair, no one else can handle it correctly... good to see sweet Skabinga's face in your selfie

  5. You look GREAT with or without hair.... I do love short hair --and mine is shorter now than usual. I FINALLY have decided to quit coloring my hair... I told myself several years ago that I'd quit coloring it once I reached 75... Didn't do that!!! SO--now that I'm 76, my hairdresser is helping me. This time she cut it shorter (3 inches on top rather than 4) ---and I'm hoping to have all of the old color out by Christmas. I hope it's WHITE and not puky-gray!!!!!! ha

    Hugs,
    Betsy
