Birds' eye view?

Last year dear blogger friend, Diane from Brisbane, posted a funny pic of herself on her blog. See here . She dared anyone else to post a funny pic of themselves. I rose to the challenge and posted myself in a funny situation - see here

On Monday Sue and I visited the school to check on building renovations being carried out during the holidays. Afterwards we wandered around the school yard (which is beautifully treed and a birding paradise) and took photos to our hearts' content. At one stage I wanted to photograph a close-up of some pretty flowers on the soccer field with the mountains in the background. Of course I had to go down low to be able to do this. I will feature the photo of the blooms and mountains on Sunday. Meanwhile Sue had turned around and noticed me on my face on the grass and photographed me!

  2. I had to do that in Svalbard. The flowers in the Arctic are really close to the ground.

  3. Wonderful, Jo.
Reminds me how glad I am Dick didn't photograph me last night. Lindy was lying on the living room carpet, looking lonely, and Dick suggested I lie down there with her. Took me about 5 minutes to get myself down there, and about 15 minutes for Dick to help me get up again, but in between times Lindy and I had a good cuddle.

  9. I'm sorry i missed this post. Thanks for alerting me. Somehow blogger doesn't seem to be sending notification messages from everyone. I must remember to check back posts. I love your pose and your guts to post it. We call that "Bum cam". I hope you got a good shot out of it. Thank you for the link...I think.
