A part of my world in Tanzania

The lush green garden which surrounds my house in Mwadui

We've had regular rains recently and everything around us is green and lush. The miners don't relish the downpours as it makes working very difficult with all the mud and slush in the pits. Frequently production is stopped due to heavy rainfalls, which means loss of money. But the earth needs the rain to sustain its people, animals and plantlife. So you can't please all the people all the time !

I'm linking to Our World Tuesday which you can access through this link

  7. Your yard is beautiful with the trees and red flowers. We all need rain, even if it does present a bit of inconvenience sometimes.

  8. Gorgeous greens --and flowers, Jo... We had alot of rain during the winter --but haven't had enough this spring. The rains just seem to go all around us right now... George has had to water some of the Roses lately...
