Southern Masked-weaver

When I reached the river on Monday (and Skabenga had a good, deep plodge) I photographed a weaver in  a shrub nearby. There were no nests in this shrub, so I wondered why he was here. He made good photo ops though.

I'm linking to Wild Bird Wednesday here

  1. Hello JO, your Weaver is a beautiful bird. Looks very similar to our Orioles. Great shots. Enjoy your day!

  2. yellow is the color of joy for me, and this is one joyful looking bird, even his black mask is beautiful

  3. What a bright color of yellow!

  4. What a bright handsome fellow he is. He would cheer anyone's day.

Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to leave a comment. I appreciate your feedback. Jo
