Rainy Skies

The mango rains have arrived! At last the Tanzanian people have sustenance; their crops should grow now. The animals have green shorts to nibble on and dams to wallow in. Oh, and the birds are having a feast on the swarms of flying ants.

When it rains in Africa, it really pours

I hope you're all having a wonderful Friday.

  1. I would love to see an African rain one day - it looks like one of our summer thunderstorms, although in our case they rarely last for more than a few minutes. Your shots capture it nicely.

  2. Hopefully not too much rain causing floods. But the earth does like to soak it in.

  10. Hee hee typo says the animals have green shorts to nibble. I get a vivid picture of this and wonder how many people lost their green shorts.
It rains like that here too. We have rain today but it is the nice steady rain which is good for the garden.
